Rob Dartnell from Workshop Recruitment has just won the National Fantasy Football Manager of the Year award in the Zeesolutions Recruitment Industry Fantasy Football league.
Having been ahead for most of the year, Rob not only won the Recruiter category with his team Workshop Wanderers, but also the Ultimate Manager of the Year award, having beaten all of the suppliers within the competition.
Daimion Eastley also entered, finishing a commendable 50th place with his team 'Choppers', and also ran was Colin who managed to end up eight from bottom. Probably fitting that his team was called 'Complete Losers Unlimited'.
The adult Minimum pay rate will increase to £6.19 per hour from 1st October 2012
The adult rate will increase by 11p to £6.19 an hour
The rate for 18-20 year olds will remain at £4.98 an hour
The rate for 16-17 year olds will remain at £3.68 an hour and
The rate for apprentices will increase by 5p to £2.65 an hour.

Julia Kirby was invited to represent the recruitment industry within the Business and Enterprise group of the Shaping the Future of Portsmouth Committee.
As a result of their work to promote businesses and opportunitites within the Portsmouth area, the members of the committee were invitied to a black tie dinner with the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth,Councillor Cheryl Buggy.
It was a great opportunity to mix with like minded industry leaders and discuss ways of promoting Portsmouth as a great place to live and work, as well as somewhere to invest in.
There are some great projects planned for Portsmouth and the surrounding area, and The Workshop are proud to be part of that development.

This legistation comes into effect on 1st October 2011 and will affect every user of temporary staff in the UK.
